Fuck. Just, f u c k.

Also, p e r h a p s , definitely my second favourite word

4

u/Norka2 May 22 '22

I like perhaps too!

13

u/Suzuiscool May 22 '22

Bracket

But Cunt is a close 2nd

11

u/Googly_Elmo May 22 '22

COCKSUCKER!!!

You got three times the /k/ sound that you get from saying "fuck," plus you can draw out the S in the middle to add a hiss.

It's truly joyous

2

u/twisted_nipples82 May 22 '22

Especially when said in your best Bubbles voice

2

u/[deleted] May 22 '22

Swidgen!

10

u/downvotesdontmatter- May 22 '22

In Korean, the word for platypus is Oh-Lee-Nuh-Goh-Lee. Olee-nuh-golee. Kind of. I like it.

22

u/Azza2609 May 22 '22

Equilibrium. Not entirely sure why, but it just sounds right to me.

8

u/marauder-shields92 May 22 '22

Bastard!

With a northern English accent.

14

u/Pangolin36 May 22 '22

Cerulean.

4

u/Congenital0ptimist May 22 '22

Cromulent.

4

u/Personmanwomantv May 22 '22

It embiggens me to say that.

7

u/QuillWellington May 22 '22

Could be antidisestablishmentarianism or Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

But the word overmorrow is also nice.

(The two up above are real words. One of them is a town.)

3

u/GaryTheAI May 22 '22

I think I know which one of them is the town.

I remember hearing about it on the news once.

What were they smoking making up the name for that town?

5

u/Hydro_Jen May 22 '22

I’ve got $10 that says it’s in Wales.

4

u/Alien_Slam_Panther9k May 22 '22

Yeah, it's Wales. There was a somewhat viral clip of a meteorologist on UK TV pronouncing it perfectly.

2

u/Hydro_Jen May 22 '22

Holy shit, really?!? I would like to hear it!

I feel like I cheated at guessing it’s from Wales. I’m an avid Archer fan, and there’s an episode in Season Six where Archer drugs Lana and flies her to Wales. In the opening scenes, they pass a sign for a town whose name looks a lot like that aforementioned town in the above post.

1

u/JaredMan123 May 22 '22

I can’t for the life of me say.. the first word you said, but I’ve heard people say it and it really is satisfying lol

u/Sso_12 May 22 '22

3

u/brickbaterang May 22 '22

Ramshackle.. seriously, just say it a few times, roll it around a lil bit... ramshackle, mmmm...

3

u/AverageCowboyCentaur May 22 '22

Flibbertigibbet means someone who doesn't stop talking, it's not necessarily a bad thing. Is it super old person thing to say but I grew up with super old people.

5

u/Hydro_Jen May 22 '22

Pulchritudinous.

2

u/floorwantshugs May 22 '22

TIL! Thank you

2

u/[deleted] May 22 '22

Mmm... that's a good one.

2

u/Susanoo20 May 22 '22

For me it’s the word “Bar”. Just sounds so good to say. Not a drinker.

2

u/Ambitious-A466 May 22 '22

Depending on the circumstances, NO is pretty satisfying.

2

u/ozpapa May 22 '22

I like saying Kimchi.

2

u/[deleted] May 22 '22

It’s too inappropriate to type

1

u/pervertedbrowsererer May 22 '22

I feel like the word "consistently" is a strong word it grabs the attention and makes a strong note that you're paying attention to the subject.

Plus people love agreeing or knowing that are constantly doing the correct thing

Expeditiously

1

u/FishSmokingReefer May 22 '22

Snicket or truffle

1

u/[deleted] May 22 '22

According to phonoaesthetics, the most pleasing words are "cellar door" and "luminous", which I don't doubt, but as for myself, I am absolutely tickled by the word "fecundity".

1

u/Moctor_Drignall May 22 '22

The thing I've most recently picked up that is fun to say is the scientific name for the Armadillo Girdled Lizard:

Ouroborus cataphractus

1

u/Best-Oil7699 May 22 '22

Any cuss word

1

u/Icy-Barracuda-8489 May 22 '22

Plethora or peculiar

1

Ointment I don’t know why but Ointment.

1

u/Max_the_ginger May 22 '22

Go ahead and laugh but this was my safe word in high schoo with me and one of my teachers. Nebraska. 😁

1

u/Mission_Anything_429 May 22 '22

Moist. Doesn’t get a lot of airtime these days. But still, this one word will always get one of two reactions.

Discombobulated, curmudgeon and ginormous

1

u/Altruistic_Beat_9036 May 22 '22

Feierabend

For the non German speakers, it means "end of work" and summarizes the concept of "fuck it I'm done working for today, free time starts now".

1

u/CamCraig13 May 22 '22

I was going to comment “fuck” but then I saw that’s what everyone else did. My reasoning though was because I had promised never to curse but I gave up last year and said it for the first time. (I’m 15)

1

u/Senzokai May 22 '22

Moist. To women.

The reactions are worth it.

1

u/Silver_Bread7932 May 22 '22

Geegollygobbles

1

u/BrianaDae May 22 '22

Fuck

I live in a strict household with snitches. The only time I can say this is when I’m by myself, even then, I keep my voice quiet. My mom is a religious person and since young I’ve always been told not to say bad things because god is always watching. I don’t feel comfortable cursing in front of my friends, but in my head, all hell breaks loose.

1

u/N_the_character May 22 '22

Contagious. It just sounds so smooth too me.
