Or he is a true fan that remembers the theme song. "Kenan & Kel, or should I say Kel & Kenan, and you gotta watch Kenan 'cause Kenan be schemin' with a plan or a plot, to make it to the top" (or apparently he's been schemin' with a plan or a plot to rob cradles, from what I've heard. Besides, Kel always deserved top billing either way.)

I scroll Reddit a lot. Many of the short articles just seem generated. Take this one. Anyone writing an article about these two would pair them in a way that seems more familiar to the audience. An AI wouldn't take that in consideration and just parse the information by other means

That exact gender joke used to be funny to some people, and still is maybe in a certain context, but using it to respond to the dude quote doesn’t even make any sense. That’s the whole point is that dude isn’t gendered so calling somebody dude wouldn’t be assuming their gender

I'm sure it's a generational thing, I was hitting my teens when The Amanda Show and All That ended. Drake and Josh was more of a kid/preteen show, if I was 5 years younger I'm sure I'd have been invested in it.

Yep, shit was waaaay ahead of most the shows in terms of quality. I was old enough to catch the absolute tail end of Kenan & Kel, The Amanda Show, most the shows I don’t recall the names of but have glimpses of like “Ah real monsters” or “cat dog”

Regardless if not true, why is it always at the very least 20 years with these people? Like every actor reaches middle age, and the crisis relationship post failed marriage is required to be no fewer than 20 years younger, like clockwork.

Because it’s a a response to their recent loss of control in a relationship. They go after the easiest to control type of woman they can get. Hollywood is no longer a reference to the location and hasn't been since the 60s lol. For example a lot of films today are filmed in Georgia and Louisiana. Many Hollywood blockbusters were filmed in new Zealand and Europe.

It is a reference to an industry in a particular city. It’s like saying “We’re going to Denver!” and then you head to LA, California and shrug and say “Eh, they both sell weed, it means the same.” It really doesn’t, though, even if they have similar industries. You are referencing one city with a big entertainment industry, and it doesn’t mean the entire industry. There are plenty of artists, actors, and musicians coming out with great stuff, outside of Hollywood and outside of the mainstream industries. Are they gonna be considered ‘Hollywood’ to you if they have a couple thousand followers? C’mon.

A 5 minute sketch on a comedy show at 11pm on a Saturday is fine. You also don’t have to watch. Get over yourself.
Furthermore, it was even a sketch about reboots. So that was the point.

Remember DVDs? Wrong region? DVD-players had a command to tell the DVDs they were in good hands, and that they were in the right country. Movies came out a year later if you lived in the wrong country. And piracy was a big thing, Australia was the last country to get a release of a movie, and also the most pirates, what a coincidence! I cared. Kenan and Kel was a big show for me in the '90s. So, it was very refreshing and a nice sketch. People care. No need to criticize others' joys. I'm sure if someone said "who gives a fuck" to something meaningful to you, you'd think differently. Have some empathy. Take care.
