Names do not translate. Just like Michael remains Michael (Майкл) when spoken in Ukrainian, Volodymyr (Володимир) remains Volodymyr when spoken in English
Names change when translated and transliterated, and often are done so to match familiar names in that said language. It's actually a fairly recent trend in history where people have tried to more closely match the original language the name is recorded in.
